Dr Chelette is residency trained in the fields of vision therapy and visual rehabilitation and has a board-certified fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry. He is nationally recognized for his work, and he has even taught these subjects at the university level to optometry students.

At Texas Vision Therapy, we tailor our treatments to each patient so that we can improve your vision and improve your life; we don't just do "eye exercises".

Optometrist

Dr Chelette is residency trained in the fields of vision therapy and visual rehabilitation and has a board certified fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry. He is nationally recognized for his work and he has even taught these subjects at the university level to optometry students.
 

Dr Chelette graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with degrees in both French and Biology, and he completed his optometric education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he graduated as the salutatorian of his class. He performed an accredited residency through the University of Incarnate Word - Rosenberg School of Optometry, and then later on was an assistant professor of optometry at the University of Pikeville - Kentucky College of Optometry. After moving back to Houston in 2022, he became an adjunct faculty member of the University of Houston College of Optometry while he was opening Texas Vision Therapy.
